If you would like individual threads or posts deleted which contain personal information:
  • Ensure you are logged into your account.
  • Check if you can delete the thread or post yourself by using the "Delete" link at the bottom of the post.
  • If the delete option is not visible, click "Report," and include a reason for the post deletion.
  • Note that posts and threads will only be deleted if they contain personally-identifying information (usernames, addresses, emails, etc).
If you would like your account deleted:
  • Ensure you are logged into your account.
  • If you only want your username changed, you can do so at https://forums.team9000.net/account/account-details
  • If you have any posts or threads containing personal information in the title or body, report them using the process above FIRST (content deletion is much easier for us to verify while you can still log in).
  • Request account deletion using the Contact Us form: https://forums.team9000.net/misc/contact
  • Your login will be deactivated, your account information will be deleted, and all posts written by you will have the username anonymized.
If you need something deleted which contains personal information, but cannot login:
  • First, attempt to regain login access by resetting your password if possible.
  • If login is impossible, request deletion of the content using the Contact Us form: https://forums.team9000.net/misc/contact
  • Be sure to include links to the content.
  • Note that deletion requests while not logged in may be delayed or refused.
