8bitMMO is a free, online, browser-based, 8bit game where you can build towns and go off exploring with your friends and what not. I played it a bit ago and it was actually pretty fun. I definitely don't believe it's a minecraft clone due to the lack of crafting and... Digging... So I think we can safely say it is it's own thing.
