I would avoid the neck. A friend of mine got a bunch of tattoos that couldn't cover up. He was having so much trouble finding a job that would hire him that he eventually started covering it up with makeup. I think now he is looking toward laser removal.

It's annoying how prejudiced some people are against tattoos. Having said that, I understand the professionalism issue.

I design my tattoos to be covered by a stiff collar or long-sleeved shirt, but peeking out in a t-shirt.

Normally I will resign to being a dick, but in this case I feel that this comment was unwarranted. What exactly makes me a dick? Is it because I made a vague cultural reference which you didn't get. Instead of explaining the reference I just stuck with it, and made it easier for you to figure out what I was referencing. You could have easily googled it to figure out what I was talking about, as it was quite obvious that I was quoting something. Not being open to people making obscure cultural references is probably not a good thing, especially on the internet.
