You don't understand marketing do you?
I do, but still.
What's wrong with killing Americans? It worked in the CoD franchise, among other things.

Also, Australians pay a lot more for games. In fact, we pay a lot more for just about anything. Americans may have a fucked economy, but at least things are cheap for them.

Well isn't that funny. I got the tweet about AC3 debut trailer as I was typing that. It appears It is during the Revolutionary war.

You underestimate the power of a ball barreling at you at also taking in the account of mukset usually being fired in rows at another row of men.
What I am expecting:
Indian bad ass jumping from tree to tree and flying down on the enemy's and shooting an arrow into there face.
NAILED IT.

Ugh. I know this. And you are never killing Americans in CoD accept maybe in multiplayer when you choose your team. The campaigns are always about killing Russians. And in the most recent installment of Metal of Honor you are killing terrorists. Americans like to play game when you're killing our enemies, or plausible enemies. If Americans like it, then more Americans will buy it. Yes, Australians spend way more money on games. But that isn't because the devs or publishers make them more expensive for fun. It is because your gaming laws suck (I'm sure you know this already). But the truth is America spends more money on games.

All this I know.
But still, we're just speculating that AC3 will be you killing Americans.
I mean, realism isn't what they're striving for, it's about making a good game.

You've got that right. If you've ever seen AC gameplay, realism isn't a key goal haha.

Based on past AC games, the Templars always side with the wealthy and domineering while the Assassins look after the people and the change-bringers. In this respect, it is very likely that it's the Redcoats we'll be killing in this game.

Good point. Will George Washington be hiring some assassination services? :O

Same thing as I posted in the other thread:

Wow....ANOTHER Assassin's Creed game?.... Totally didn't see that one coming, no siree, no way.

List of Assassin Creed titles made in the last 5 years:

Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines
Assassin's Creed II: DiscoveryAssassin's Creed III

Props to Ubisoft for finding a franchise that people are willing to fork over their cash year after year for, with only very minor changes made in the series. Call Of Duty has taught them much.

I like Assassin's Creed for it's combination of history and modern-day worlds and plotlines, and the story is really well-written. I agree the gameplay is getting a bit stale as of recent, but hopefully AC3 (which I had a feeling would be set in the U.S. for a while now) will be awesome :D
