Swamps are fuckin' excellent. Don't diss 'em.

But I do kinda miss spawning on a beach.

I don't like the grass shading and tree shading. Only one color isn't ugly as crap. Personally lime green grass everywhere seems okay to me.

I'm not sure he could really capture the essence of alpha in a biome. I think half of the experience were the consistent crashes, the pick-axe regen glitch, and other similar things.

The best thing you can do is use an alpha texture pack... just makes everything lime green.
