Well, I thought I should make good of this blog space I have here... I could reviews for games... or I could make music... But I suck at both. So I'll tell you about the intresting things that happen. And oh boy, a lot happens. So lets start this off, eh? This is something that happened today...
I had just arrived home when I was greeted at the door by my brother, Tim. He had been sick the entire day and decided not to go into Uni today, he seemed ecstatic and very... happy. I asked him what's going on, normally people who are sick are you know... slow and sometimes angry.
Nothing really, he replied. Oh Yea, there's a Ferret in the back room.
By that time I was confused, really confused. I mean... What the fuck was a ferret doing in the house? I didn't believe him at first, but when I stated that he brought out a camera and gave me pictures. He confirmed it. There was a mother-fuckin' ferret in our house, eating our cat food. Now, as most of you know I live in Australia and Ferrets don't live in the wild here. So it had to be domesticated. So I did the only logical thing, I went down to the back room and went to see if it was there... didn't see it. So I just took his word for it and went up stairs, specifically I went on Team9000 but that's not important. Since it's a Tuesday I often go over to my Grandparents house and we have roast, so while getting ready I saw it.
I looked down and it looked up at me. There was a bloody ferret looking at me.
I looked at the little fuzz ball as it rolled around in the pants I was about to wear and patted it, it was fairly nice. It sniffed my finger... then playfully bit it. It hurt but it wasn't anything serious. I thought to myself, I can't leave a ferret that bites by itself with my two cats, something might get hurt. I thought to myself I better get the cat cage, that's what I did... and every step I made the little ferret followed me, right by my heels.
Friendly little bugger.
I got the cat cage and put him in it. He... didn't like that, he bit me again... and again...and again. I couldn't get the cage closed without it biting me. So I left it to my brother, he got it in there after some persuasion. Nothing harmful but... pushing.
Anyway, we decided we should see if any of the neighbours happened to be missing a ferret, Tim and I both walked down the street, house to house. Door to Door. Asking if they had lost a ferret. When the house owners had kids they'd call them over to show them the ferret, almost up too 17 kids saw it, mostly from different families. We neared the end of our trip around the neighbourhood when we reached the school that was near us, St Dominic's Priory College. We asked just in case, who knows...
Well, we asked someone there and they said they didn't, they were in a hurry and currently leaving, probably the last person on the campus. But to be honest they seemed like they were a cleaner but I left it at that... Until I realized that their emblem in fact, a ferret. Perhaps we have located their lost mascot. Well, we couldn't be sure so we took him home. Our Grandfather waiting for us outside, we put the ferret in a cage with food and water in an isolated room, away from our two cats.
We came home at around 8 O'Clock from dinner and saw the cute little ferret, by this time I had decided to call him Bites McGee. Apparently, my brother Tim had already posted about the ferret on facebook. And then someone gave us a hint, that our neighbour directly next to us has a pet ferret, we missed out on him home at first because we saw our grandfather at the gate, overlooking their house.
We got Bites McGee and took him over to out neighbours house, when we opened the door and he was so relieved we found his pet ferret, apparently he'd been very stressed over him. His name was apparently Houdini. In the end it was all sunshine and rainbows... at 8PM
Anyway, it's not every day you see a ferret in your house, eating your food.
