Reach IS the WORST story wise and a bit gameplay wise. The story line contradicts the original events in a vast amount of way's it's ridiculous.
The gameplay is solid but it doesn't feel as smooth as it did in previous instalments.

Gameplay wise I'd rank the series Halo 2-Reach-1-3-Wars (Judging the time period when the game was released)

Story wise I'd rank the series Halo 3-Wars-2-1-Reach.

Obviously this is my own opinion but I personally hated reach due to the stupidity of the story and how they tried to make the characters feel like they were "human", which contradicts a Spartans mental and physical profile (Which should be left for the books) and some of the increasingly stupid gameplay features that they introduced.

I just realized I have very few multiplayer games for Xbox.

Basically,

Halo 3
Halo Reach
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Ace Combat 6

...I can't even think of anything else. Maybe DoA4 and some other similar games, but ehhh, fighting games are not my strong suit.
