It is actually half-good. You should use it one day.

I just found that vista was a piece of crap and xp was outdated and windows 7 was in its early release stages and was too expensive to get a half-good version (Not starter)
XP = mother-of-God-amazing but outdated
Vista = unholy piece of shit
7 = not bad, but expensive as hell

8 = free, probably better than 7, but still in beta and probably expensive on release.

This is the Internet my friend, the very epitome of freedom. Just acquire 7 through unconventional methods until 8 is released, depending on whether it is a complete failure or not.

Windows 7 Home Premium is not that expensive if you really think about how much you are going to use it.

But that is illegal and silly.
It's probably a better idea just to get Win8 if that's how you wanna roll.

True, even though I would never illegally download windows 7 or its predecessors because I'm fine with my reliable Xp, it's a suggestion considering how ridiculously expensive 7 is.

Hmm... I'm getting the parts of amazon; costs about $369AUD. Which is pretty decent.

And on the subject of graphics cards, it seems AMD actually have it right. High-end graphics combined with a CPU. It's just that they're put together for about 2x the price. So I think I'll keep it.

Look up APU if you're interested. I'm not quite sure, but it seems fine.
The thing is, a dedicated graphics card outperforms built in ones by a very noticeable scale. You're better off even buying a dedicated 5450 card.

Buy my new gaming rig that i cant even use because of work. Im on the road ill post specs tonight.

Basic Info
Ex ATX Gen 3 Extreme 7 asrock
16gigs of ddr3
2600k cpu
Nvidia geforce 580

All it needs is hard drives.
And optical drive but those are 20$ tops

Ps this will run any game at amazing settings.

A little bit of a higher end rig but you wont be upset

2600k is a phenomenal processor. I use it, and overclocked it at 4.2ghz. It overperforms on everthing. I just put in a 680, and oh boy my computer never run better.

I ordered my parts. Not too much of a setback, but I'll nab myself a better graphics card later down the road. At the moment, my graphics card can run every game on the market, but the highest-end game which it can run to the recommened requirements is Civ 5.

damn it.. everywhere online they have been out of stock since day one.. I'll have a look at my local stores and see what there is..
Try newegg. I think they restock everything below 500 every 2 weeks. on a friday. (that's what I read when I waited for my 2600k.)
