Can you jump from the tower into the pool at the sphinx?

The pool has a deep area in the corner which suggests you might be able to jump. I was tempted to try it but decided not to as I didn't want to lose my stuff, but sethro34 tried 4 times and I think proved it is NOT possible

Although maybe with a potion of swiftness or something..?

Depends on the height of the tower and the distance between it and the pool. Angles also play a key role in whether or not you can make it. :3

Nope. I have never left my base except only to go to spawn and go back to my base or dying at going from left spawn to base, and frankly, not a single town intersects with those paths.
