Closing threads?

There's a lot of moments when all the talk was done and the last thing left in a thread is a general awkwardness and a total derail. Then there's the thread reviving. Should anything be done about it?

This recent spat of random and unnecessary thread reviving is a bit ridiculous. Especially if they're threads bringing up sore/controversial topics that were settled long ago.

You should be able to delete your own threads, even friggin 4chan has this <_<

If you want to delete a thread i suggest reporting it for deletion.
