can I please remove these Abandoned buildings beside my town?
they have been empty since I started my town and they are also pretty griefed...
I don't think they have any use as of now and I need the plots they are standing on...


this building:

you can see that it's just a few blocks away from my spawn tunnel...




and also this building:

you could see that it is pretty close to the first abandoned building
and then that's my towns unfinished mob grinder at the right of it O_O
it's too close to my town, I need them gone...




I also need these rails below my plots rerouted / removed...
I placed signs to inform the owner/s about my plans
and no one has replied for 3 weeks or more....
I need to clear everything beneath my plots for a massive town project
but I cant start with all these rails in the way

could I just take the rails off and store them in a chest outside my plots so the owner can access them?
I think 3 weeks of no reply from the owner is enough waiting...

I just found out that the building covered with vines is in the same plot as my tunnel entrance O_O
so if i buy the plot where my tunnel entrance is, part of the building with vines will be in my plot...

three weeks or more? not towny protected? i'm not an admin, but pretty sure if you tear it up/down, store the supplies separately for a few weeks, and happily give them back if the owner requests (and can provide evidence toward the fact that it was their build); nobody is going to get you in trouble. wait for an admin's go-ahead though.

I say reroute the rail yourself, I suspect people just afk during long rail rides, so as long as they get to their destination in the resonable expected amount of time then they probably wont notice, and if they do it's not a big deal really.

As for tearing down the building, personally, I would tear it down, the building is not detailed or complicated enough to be too difficult to rebuild, I would keep the materials and some money ready in case the owner comes back. Help the owner rebuild and compensate them. Not a big deal, I guess it depends on the owner and how pissed or not they will get. If no admin responds to this thread in like 2 or 3 days I'd say just go ahead and do it. The community has flexibility, players can work together without getting an admin involved. Good Luck.

I already tore down the buildings with Torfurkeys advice in mind (from the chatroom)
but he didn't give any advice regarding the rails... he told me to wait for woots advice


about afk riding the rails to not notice my signs:
if you look at the pics, I lead the rails to go into the wall with the signs LOL
so you cannot miss the signs I guess the owner just never uses it?


I guess my option would be to reroute it myself but I would have to extend the rails though but is fine with me
