As far as I know, those are previews and no actual update has taken place. Like I said I open my game and it says it's up to date, and the last update was July last year.

Yikes, guess that's my queue to not waste the money.

It's apparently what minecraft was supposed to be, before the community took over and made it a sandbox game.
