Daft Punk helmet endeavor.

So, I've decided that I will put the time and resources into creating a (hopefully!) perfect replica of Thomas Bantalger's chrome Daft Punk helmet. No idea how it will turn out as I've never attempt a project like this. I will have the help of my father and another daft punk fan (Cheater, he's buying his helmet). I plan on using this as a guide, its the simplest and easiest I've found: http://www.defcon6.com/?cat=19 the reason I'm making this thread is to find out if anyone has a better way of going at this? I atleast want it done by next Halloween, which I belive is incredibly possible.

The model is always the hardest endeavor when making these. (Like making sure its a "perfect" cast model)

You do mean Thomas Bangalter, don't you?

That awkward moment when I make a post in this thread about a friend who is buying his helmet, then I realize that you are my friend that is getting help from the friend that I mentioned. Best of luck bro!
