DC Universe: Online is going Free-to-Play

In an article posted by ign.com, SOE announced that starting sometime in the end of October, DCUO will be free-to-play. Users who are current subscribers will be able to acces "top-tier" add-ons in the game, such as extra character slots, maximum items slots, and unlimited league sizes. There are two other "tiers" announced for the online MMO, one of which being free, and the other a mid-level tier, that is accessible after spending $5US in-game. I'm pretty sure I'm going to DL this game and give it a shot whenever it goes free. Any other takers?

I remember Someone Hacked a MMO on my HP Laptop screwed my computer up.

I have the game via Steam, I canceled it because it just wasn't worth the monthly fee. Perhaps I'll give it another shot if it will be free now.
