As godlib just farted (On me/in my general direction), told me his computer was a female and he had been thinking a lot lately on what to name her, and told me he enjoys her company because she does not complain about his flatulence.....I am going to need A LOT of convincing. Although, I do like pineapples.....

You have like 9 comic conventions, shut your trap. Also, we're going to one...pick one and tell me when.
C2e2... next year. Wizard world blows. It is all shopping... a few panels but nothing that really interests me. I've heard good things about c2e2 though.

Man...this is cool. I hope this thing takes off. It'd be great to meet some more of you guys in person, and see some of you others again.

*Bump*

They're now also going to have 16v16 outdoor laser tag, and it's only $5 with a badge. VIPs get it for free and also get fast lane access. It looks like passes are still available.

I've run into an issue. I just got laid-off yesterday. Also my disbursement checks wont be here until the end of the month and half-way through October. I'm still trying to go since I already bought the 3day VIP pass, but obviously my money situation is telling me don't do it. I did talk with my father who lives about 2 hours from Durham, so I might be there for one or two days. I might not be there at all. It's 3 1/2 hours from where I live. I can't afford the gas and hotel room, not to mention food and cigs. haha

I will say that hopefully PAX goes on sale around the time I have my disbursement checks. That way I can get the passes, plane tickets, and stash about $1000 for it. I must go to PAX.
I'm sorry to hear about your job situation. Dumb economy :( While I hope you find a new job soon, if not, I would say that PAX would be the better trip to go to. I don't know how passes work for Escapist, but it you can, try to get a refund. If not, maybe sell it to someone else? No matter how it goes, I wish you luck in future job endeavors, and hope to see you at PAX.

sadly, we will not be making it to this, my new work schedule put the nail in the coffin for this idea, If any of you guys make it out there, I look forward to hearing about it. Some of the panels look to be very interesting.......lasertag sounds cool as well.

I'm going on Saturday. As far as coming to visiting me, it won't be such a good idea, we'll have a full house with my wife's mother and grandmother coming this weekend as well. I'm lucky enough to have gotten permission for Saturday...
