This is your obligatory warning to begin downloading Warsow if you want to be involved in tonight's game night. The game is a free FPS, based on Quake 2 style gameplay.

Even if I did start the download now, it would be almost tomorrow morning by the time it was done. I'm also not the only one in the house. On top of that I have TONS of games from the Steam sale and I'm downloading the ones I want to play most over time until I can get to an internet café / friends house with my laptop again. I would like to play but I can't.

I live literally in the middle of nowhere. It's the best internet you can get in my area. Satellite would be better for downloads, but uploading and online gaming would just be dreadful. My internet runs off of the local cell service actually.


This whole transition to downloading games / movies / music online saves a lot of time and it's much easier. But it seems like all the people offering those things think everyone has access to decent internet. Having more Steam activate able games in store or just PC games in general would be nice.

Just downloaded the game, tried to run it and it crashed. Twice in a row. I'm just gonna guess I won't be able to play this one.

Happy game night everyone ^_^. T'was fun. Some people had crashing issues, sorry about that. Maybe we'll have them figured out by next time.

TF2 took a whole day for me. For killing floor I had to prepare for the night 2 days before.

10 minutes would be lovely for me, but it would've ended up as 10 hours for me.
The ISP says it should be 20, speedtest says 8mbps, I think it might be even slower.

TF2 is over 10GB, Warsow is 500MB.
