That was awhile ^^
omgI just came back from a 13 day holiday trip to Japan, inclusive of 2 days of traveling to and from Japan.
And out of the 11 days in Japan I spent 2 days in Akihabara. My life is now complete. As of writing this I have not been back in the country for more than 4 hours or so, and I'm pretty tired so I'll just leave this here:

There were so many shops and levels upon levels in buildings full of anime goods and stuff. Of course, many of the buildings, and I mean MANY of the buildings had 1 or more levels dedicated to porn/hentai/doujins and all that good stuff. Of which I did not take pictures of. Otherwise, character goods were not as plentiful as I had hoped they would be. They seemed to focus mainly on highly popular series and some of those I was looking for did not have the range I hoped they would.
Of manga, there was no lack. When I walked into any one of their stores selling manga, I can say for sure that I would not be able to identify even 1% of them. Anyways, I'll probably be writing a blog some time in the next 2 or 3 days about my experience in Japan, if anyone is interested in knowing more about what is in Akihabara.
So Sword Art Online has officially reached the half-way point on Toonami.
Should I stop watching now?
Toonami?
whats that now? and Half-point you mean after the Sao Incident happend?
Episode 14 was the one that just aired. So I'm hearing now is a good time to drop it unless I want to hate everything about it because the ending to the series is disappointing. After the rushed and immensely unsatisfying ending of the first arc, which was episode 14 I think, is where it continues to go downhill in my opinion. I've seen up to episode 17 of the show and I just couldn't stand it anymore. I did enjoy the first arc, even if there were still many problems with it, so if you want to keep that feeling I'd suggest stopping there. Unless you are just dying to watch more for whatever reason.
Toonami is a set time a TV channel called Cartoon Network sets aside to show anime. And the Sao incident was the beginning of the show correct? Or are you talking about the ending of the first arc around episode 14?

Well thanks a lot now I have to watch it if it has a worse ending than Deadman Wonderland because I'm a God damn idiot. Then you haven't seen Vampire Knight! Ugh
Thats what i call A bad ending.
(even for a vampire Show!)
Found your problem.Naruto
The dubs for SAO are god awful imo, you should be watching subs.So Sword Art Online has officially reached the half-way point on Toonami.

The series went to shit because they majorly cut short what could have been an epic story in the first arc. The second arc was awful beyond words. Kirito lost his 2 swords, which were cool as hell, and they were replaced with random generic weapons Kirito found along the way. Next, the entire point of the second arc was showing off how brokenly OP Kirito's stats were because of a glitch. There were no super hard fights at all, he went straight in and beat the most powerful member of an entire race within days of starting. It removed the suspense from dying, which was replaced by Kirito's view of "I don't want to die in videogames just cuz." Kirito was also given a copy of the little girl to be his personal assistant which pretty much came with assistance no other players had access to and straight up told him where his girlfriend was instead of him finding her himself. To top it all off, the final fight consisted of them dragging real world pain into it and torturing eachother, before finally resulting in two physical disabled people fighting in a hospital parking lot.Wall of text
So SAO ends with this?resulting in two physical disabled people fighting in a hospital parking lot.

In all honesty, the series went to hell during the final fight of the first arc, where Kirito lost all his HP and stayed alive because he felt like disobeying the laws that everyone in the game was bound by.
Anyone else watching Infinite Stratos S2?
all dem mai waifus

I realize that too much anime is about the human condition on : "I gotta do evil to impress the universe" , "I'm weak.. but I will killz you when I get strong", "I'm superior therefore I am godly." or even "Here's my backstory that I am willing to share with you before we fight and stuff."
Maybe I feel this way because I don't actually understand the Japanese language and there's actually alot of deeper meaning behind these somewhat generic sayings.
Omfg my edits made it onto a article on crunchy roll about it. It takes a bit of scrolling to get to it but they are both there. Woo!So /a/ is on some hype train for kill la kill and they found this drawing:
