I just finished Log Horizon and I have to say it is easily one of the most well done, entertaining, and fun new shows I have seen in a long time. The cast is amazing and there's a great balance of the silliness of anime along with a surprisingly deep and at times complex story. If you want to watch a show that continually and cleverly builds in scale and story, along with a fantastic representation of MMO's in general, I would highly suggest this show.
I'm halfway through Log Horizon, I hope to be done by this weekend's end. It's good so far. Compared to SAO (yes, I just have to compare to SAO because mmo elements) the balance of pacing and development is tremendously better, although sometimes I wish they would hurry up with things.

Like when they talk about Politics, and such? I like it actually

Holy shit.
Only after reading up on SAO's light novels and finding a familiar term did I realise that Accel World is the future of SAO.

Mind = Fucked.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the first episode of Mekakucity Actors.

I have nothing against Shaft, but they really didn't execute MCA very seriously.

It was basically a romantic school comedy, without the romance, school, or comedy.

It might not be Roundabout, but damn it do I still love what they did :D

Also the Arrow was foreshadowed (literally shadowed) at the beginning so hopefully that's a sign that they'll do Part 4 and 5, where it is a key object.

I have watched the first episode of No Game No Life, Mekaku City Actors, and Akuma no Riddle. I've watched the first two episodes of Ping Pong and The Irregular at Magic High School. In all honesty, Ping Pong the Animation is currently my favorite this season. The first episode made me more interested in their characters than any other first episode I've seen this season.

I won't exactly rate them all, but I've also enjoyed The Irregular at Magic High School. I especially like the main character so far compared to all the others because it feels like he is doing something much more important that what is going on around him. I would like it if the show drifted away from the heavily implied incest... But that's probably asking quite a bit considering the majority of the main cast are voice actors from Oriemo.

Briefly on the others, Mekaku City Actors was interesting, but the first episode was really underwhelming. I hope that the show can get a bit more serious and drift away from the overtly shaft style of animation. I really was not a fan of Akuma no Riddle. I almost quit watching No Game No Life because it felt like it was far too overtly ecchi and I couldn't take it seriously an ounce. I don't think I'll continue it, but once they got into the game world it became much more intriguing. The idea that you can cheat your way to the top as long as you don't get caught was fairly unique.

Edit: I forgot to mention the first episode I watched of Black Bullet. The premise was interesting and the action was cool, but the characters felt very bland and uninteresting. I may or may not continue it.

I don't know about No Game No life, the ecchi didn't bother me too much, it wasn't as out of place.

Second episode of MekakuCity Actors still sucks.

And the Irregular at Magic Highschool is more incest than ever! This time with ecchi!

I don't know anything about No Game, No Life besides the fact they make a Jojo reference like 2 episodes in (Whatever the seen was where the girl gets mad and bangs her head on the wall and yells WRRRRRYYYYYYYY while posing like Dio). Guess I'll avoid it if it goes overboard on ecchi, that's what made me stop watching One Piece after the War of the Bests Arc (Given I'm glad I'm not watching One Piece anymore)

I am interesting in No Game No Life mainly because the art when they finally get into the game world is so pretty to look. I even rewatched the second episode...

I love how its somewhat opposite of some shows, where they usualy try their hardest to survive and get away from "That" world like Btoom or Sao.
And in this they already know how to survive and gamble everything to gain a advantage its fun to watch and read.

I'm mostly interested in:

Baby Steps (the manga is awesome)

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou (Akin to a lighthearted version of "the pet girl of sakurasou")

The World Is Still Beautiful (Shojou/Romance? with an interesting premise)

No Game No Life

Captain Earth (Mecha)

Along with a few other shows that I'm watching but not overly enthusiastic about or have on hold to marathon (Soul Eater Not!, One Week Friends, etc.). It's been an interesting season so far but I'm still hyped for the Fall/Autumn season over anything else this year.
