Google rebrands Android Market

Google has announced that the Android Market will now be called "Google Play". This brings an end to Android being the centre of their music, book and movie stores and brings them closer towards being a content provider.

Personally I like the idea and the name is growing on me.

What are your thoughts?

I personally like where Google is headed with this.
They're stepping up their game and competing with companies like Apple, who have their own music store.

I mean, the thought of having everything interconnected to your Google account is cool, but scary at the same time. If you ever loose your password of get it stolen, that's a whole web of things lost, and now with their music store, your credit card information could be lost as well.

Google is making innovations in the right direction, from my perspective.

But...

Android Market sounded so cooooooooooooooooooool... :p

Already updated, not much more in it for australians, though. The same thing, but with daily 25c apps.
