Great Games To Buy For Cheap/Best Free Games

Hawke recently made a thread asking for our recommendations on which was the best game to buy for the $20 he had to spend, and that gave me an idea: why not create a master list of all the great games that you can get for $20 or less (or $30, I suppose, that's nearly half the price of a normal PC game)?

I'll update the list as good ideas are posted.

Keep in mind, I'm checking these prices on Steam, as (in the US, at least) it's the greatest source of good deals. If you can find them for less, post a link and I'll make a note of it.

< $20-$25

- Frozen Synapse ($25)
- Arma II ($20)
- Arma II: Operation Arrowhead (Standalone) ($20)
-Mount and Blade (vanilla) ($20)

< $15

- Zeno Clash ($15)
- Men of War ($15)

< $10

- Company of Heroes ($10)

< $5

- VVVVVV ($5)
- Cthulu Saves the World ($3)

ALSO!!
Free Games.

Freeware Games are getting really popular these days, and that is only a good thing. More games for free!
With TF2, Planetside 2, and dozens of other new shooters and MMO's going free to play, we're going to get a lot of awesome games without spending a dime.

But there are also a slew of Indie freeware titles, like Dwarf Fortress and Every Day the Same Dream, and those deserve a place here too.

MOBA/DotA

-Bloodline Champions
-Heroes of Newerth
-League of Legends
(for all those who want to play LoL, use THIS link to sign up, so that you and Narwhals get bonus points :D)

MMO's

-Lord of the Rings Online
-World of Warcraft (free to level 20)
-Runescape

Freeware/Indie

-Dwarf Fortress
-WWI Medic
-Running with Rifles
-Team Fortress 2

Minecraft Classic is already pretty much the entire basis of this community, so I doubt it needs to be mentioned further here.

So please, take this opportunity to share your favorite free/cheap PC titles, so that we might have some sort of reference list if we've got a day off or some cash burning a hole in your pocket. All responses appreciated!

Doesn't Steam have a list of games for a certain price range already?
I think the point is that Pl4t0 wants some personal opinions. While Steam does give you the option to search for Free-To-Play games, not all are worth the bandwidth, and reviews can be misleading.

There's Pangya... a free golf game I enjoy thoroughly. It's relaxing and simple to learn and play. I suppose you could try it out.

This is my list, it's a free country, I don't like Runescape.

Aaah you see, you may not like runescape, but some of us do.

And this list is not only your opinion, you stated that yourself.

Also, before you criticize a game for it's faults, see if you can do better.

oh right that's why we're all being forced to accept obamacare... on an unrelated note, LoL is pretty dang fun and now that TF2 is free, i'll definitely be giving that a try!

EDIT: I JUST WATCHED THE PROMO FOR "VVVVVV" OHHHHH IT BLEW MY MIND
