Now ive decided to take it on here since you can find a good ammount of griefers in guest. So heres how it works:
-first, you take a pic of the grief (if you have wom), and if possible the griefer griefing.
- lets say A griefed, so we will post like this:

Griefer: A
Blocksgriefed/spammed: (lets say he griefed 5)
notes: (any important notes about the griefer)
status: (his rank at the moment you posted the post)
-then just place the pic as an attachment!

very simple! my goal is to keep the server grief proof for aslong as i can haha.
note: numerate your griefer posts like this ex:
1_griefer: A...etc....
2_griefer:B......etc...
3_griefer:C.....etc....

so it will be easier to promote!

There is a new GP ranking system for engineers, that is that engineers that want to join the GP must contact me ingame, or post on this thread requesting to join us, then, i will check their ammount of current kicks, place it after the name, and every time he kicks a player after that will apply for 1 GP grief catch.

thats not what i mean when i say grief trap, i mean i just build a nice house next to spawn and watch it until guest gets renewed, because i know weres the original spot of every block, so its easier to see if a griefer griefed it XD

That is still you setting up a building for the purpose of getting griefed. The moment it gets touched you call for a admin to and then claim it in your grief patrol thread. That is building a build in hopes of it getting grief. AKA a grief trap.

Finish building it then :sneaky: i do a bit of everything, i build, sometimes solo projects and sometimes with other people, i teleport around giving water/lava or general help if someone calls me ;), then if i see grief i report it (or if someone mentions it in the chat and doesnt get any response i check it out), but mostly i build, i mean c'mon, im a BUILDER... lol

In short, specifically we look at;

Being active on our mumble server <- Click me for more info

Time online

Maturity (You don't have to be over the age of 18 to be considered mature)

How much you help others (Telling people to type /RULES regarding general info, adding water/lava to guest bulds when it's requested and answering any questions that you can)

How you treat lower ranking members (If you're a a bit of a knob towards lower ranking members then we tend not to consider you)

How much you help higher ranks in terms of grief/bannable offenses (If you don't check enough blocks with the history command and aren't sure that it is grief, then don't report it, if you do so without making sure, you're wasting our time) and if a new Cool world is needed.


When we promote users past the rank of builder, we spend a considerable amount of time evaluating the user beforehand.

Once the user is at the rank of Engineer, we will watch their actions closely. If the user abuses their powers or doesn't follow the lead of a higher ranking member regarding how to go about moderating. The user will either have a talking to or be demoted if it is necessary.

The promotion process to Awesome is practically the same as from Builder to Engineer, however we will randomly ask members on the server their opinion of you and if there are any issues that need to be ironed out.

In short, specifically we look at;

How well you moderate the server

If you're correctly checking history

Please report grief via the /STAFF command before you kick for it

How you deal with spammers, capslock users, users who swear (We will look down on you if you don't give them ample warning regarding what they're doing before kicking the user, also make sure to use the /WHERE command on the offending user, if they're on guest TP to them and check if they're being griefed, most of the time users who swear in Guest are either being griefed or are griefing)

People are really getting to into this, kick back and enjoy the game. Catching griefers will prove nothing to us.
