I am definitely looking forward to this, hopefully its going to be the best halo yet.
But currently the best halo game goes to the original Halo:CE. Haven't played anniversary edition yet.

There is rumor that Halo 4 is going to be on the PS3 and that microsoft no longer has ties with bungie.
If Halo had a different publisher other than Mircosoft, then it'd be possible Halo 4 would be on the PS3.

Well hot damn, I'd get it if that were the case. Too long have I been seperated from this glorious fanboy bullshit. But I really shouldn't be over excited over a game that I can't even play, even after its released. Until it's official that its on PS3, then I'd get hyped up.

343 is a division of Microsoft, specifically for Halo. Bungie does not own the Halo franchise anymore.

Bingie never owned the halo franchise. Microsoft being the publisher has always owned the halo franchise. This is why it is an xbox exclusive and always will be. There is NO WAY Microsoft would ever give their greatest franchise to their biggest competitor.

Well, Bungie owned it for the first Halo, they were bought by Microsoft by the time Halo 2 came around.

Bungie came to Microsoft with the vision, and Microsoft funded it so they'd have something for the original Xbox. It may have been more of a mutual thing at the beginning, but they were bought up quick after the success of Halo: CE I guess.
