Halo 4

1. I get an eerie feeling this game is going to cost a shit zillion dollars to buy.
2. From the sample, the music has lost a bit of its uniqueness, it sounds like a general dramatic cinematic score, meh maybe it will work with the game.
Well, the way Halo 4 is going to work is, its either going to be the best damn Halo ever, or, it will be a big steaming pile of :poop:

There's really no chance for this to end up like "Eh, it was okay."

TBH I wasn't looking forward to Halo 4 considering the job 343 did on the anniversary. I mean yeah, it was good graphics and all but I found myself playing on the old graphics because the new graphics didn't have that, 'Halo feel' if you know what I mean. Anyways, after seeing this video when it came out I was quite surprised and made me more excited for the release of it. In the multiplayer the Spartans just didn't look, 'right' to me they looked more like Crysis 2 characters although I've only played it once and I can't remember it that well so I may be just off my head. In conclusion I am looking forward to it and hope that 343 lives up to the standard of Bungie. TEMPACE OUT!

I have feeling Halo4 is going to trend more towards the "other" FPSes than we may think. 343 has announced the progression system which sounds more like a CoD or BF game than the way Halo had been before. I have yet to read the latest GameInformer to see if the article in there discusses anything with the main story, but it worries me that all we've heard so far is about multiplayer. Granted, if you say too much about a game's story, then you ruin the game for everyone. But, if you don't mention anything about the story, then it could mean there isn't enough there to talk about without ruining the game. Halo: Reach was a fun game, and the multiplayer is so much fun. I do wish the campaign was a bit longer, and that the story was a bit better constructed. I didn't really feel any emotion or connection with the Noble Team. I know that was Bungie and this is 343, but I'm not sure 343 is going to be able to cut the mustard with the campaign like we all hope. For now, I am cautiously optimistic. It is only April, and the game is set to release sometime in Q4, so we've got some time yet to learn more.

Any FPS is improved if it has more guns, more attachments for guns, more perks/gadgets, more vehicles, more customization, more balanced gameplay, more specializations, bigger maps, more bigger maps?, players, etc.

But seriously, I favor the idea of changing scopes on battle rifles and whatnots, even if they are fantasy scopes.

Or having an arsenal of 40 different rifles to choose from, each with variable weight and affecting how fast you can run.

We have a partial review of the first misson of the game by gameinformer and some more information on the multiplayer.
Firefight was removed and has been replaced with a system called Spartan Ops, which is a co-op campaign system that ties in directly with the originial campaign. It will include cutscenes and new missions/gameplay every week, from what was stated in the article.

You just confirmed right there that they are now copying CoD and Battlefield.
I am now very disappoint.

How is that copying from battlefield and cod? I haven't seen a battlefield or cod game so far that has a system like that with new content being released every week for FREE that ties directly in to the campaign and no gameplay or any other information besides this on the mode have been released so there is no way to say they're copying of BF or COD.

And saying that a games copies from another is frankly retarded, game companies have been doing this for years in their games and it's stupid saying that GOW introduced the horde genre or Halo 3 was the first game to have theater, so what if 343 is adapting certain features or quirks from other standard fps's, 343 is running the scene now and they have to make their own adaption of Halo and not BUNGIES adaptaion of Halo. I'm sure it will work and you can't even say that it will be like Cod or Bf if you haven't even played the game yourself.

Hey, I only liked COD for it's SpecOps and partly the campaign, I don't really mind the addition.

That's true, as i only got MW2 for those 2 features, though it sounds like Spec Ops we don't know if it will be like Spec Ops or how the missions will be set out.

The trouble with the Reach storyline is that we all knew the Spartans were all going to die. I think this video sums it up nicely.

Y'know...I'm not as hyped for this game as I have been for the previous Halo iterations. I'm not sure why, either. Everything is looking pretty cool so far, even though I am not a fan of the way mulitplayer may be going.

I am not as hyped up to halo 4 because ever since I joined PC, I really would only touch an xbox at a friends house. Also mine was red ringed and havn't bothered with a new one.
