Something I stumbled upon while browsing reddit. This video honestly covers all the problems of why I dont play xbox anymore and some pc games. However it offers probably the simplest and greatest solution and I thought you all should see it.

Watch the video in the link and discuss it cause honestly, it is a problem. 5 or 7 years ago gaming was a community. A strong community and the amount of hate and people that send stuff like this,

was very miniscule. But now, I cant play a game without getting stuff like this , even when I am doing bad at the game. Its just that bad. Not only that, but the amount of people that do it is insane. Where you give a 13 year old a megaphone to insult everyone he meets with no consequences is almost unacceptable, and thats exactly what online gaming communication has become.

Watch the video in the link and then discuss it, cause it really is a problem.

I really don't think that this will ever be fixed....Well maybe if we only let the people who are 18+ to buy the M rated games !

what I've noticed is that most of these trolls always respond to an intelligent reply and if that doesn't work there's the best way everybody knows, ignore/block them if possible, because as the video said that's what they're out there for: attention, and if we don't give them any of it they're bound to stop. And until we actually get to the point of making improvements in our gaming systems/communities to prevent these people that's pretty much the most we can do.
also as far as i can see xbox live moderating team needs to be expanded

I played Halo: CE, Unreal Championship, and many other M rated titles at that age. Unlike most everyone else, my parents are smart and raised me to not be idiotic. They also withheld online play from me for quite a while. With good reason. Besides, singleplayer and/or split-screen is so much more fun than online play.

If you have people, yeah. Though that entirely depends. My cousins are fine with split-screen on games.

My dad and one brother throw fits, like "AHHH IT'S SO TINY"

I think the problem is that parents have to know when their child is mature enough for such a game.
Or online play in general. Hell I still get mad over what the AI can do in single player, god damn pokemon that can use Protect twice in a row.
