I'm really not good at that like, at all, but i can try...the only 3d thing ive ever built is a little house.

I recognize that llama sprite... you wouldn't happen to frequent DA, would you?
Those are some rather nice sprites you have there. Generally, if you're trying to get to builder via making sprites, they would have to be something large and detailed. An example would be that you take a piece of art you really like, scale it down to where all of the pixels could fit in the world, and then create it in the Sprite Builder map. Something else you could try is taking a sprite from a game, and making it 3D. For instance, in zone2, someone took the Eclipse Dragon summon from the game Golden Sun, and made it 3D (although he didn't finish it unfortunately).

Yep, I've been on dA for like 6 years, lol. Just type in this username in there.

I've tried a few times to make something 3D, but I pretty much fail at that. Miserably. I'm trying again tomorrow.

I dunno how to use that sprite builder tool...or how I could successfully scale down something to fit within the cool world. Half of it would be covered in water...I just dunno enough of the tricks of the trade yet to do huge-scale things like Tbar.

Erm, the sprite builder isn't a tool. It's a world that's specifically for sprite.
To scale an image down, just take it into a paint program and scale the image, like MS Paint, Gimp (free to download), or photoshop. If you're building in the cool or guest world and making it a vertical sprite, you'll want it to be within 64 pixels of height. Something else you could do is build the sprite horizontally, which basically you could build it as large as the world if you build it at the top of the sky.
