Heroes of Might and Magic: 3DO vs. Ubisoft

Which company made better Heroes games, 3DO or Ubisoft? Why? Just wondering, I personally like Ubisoft better because of the way they have developed the lore of the Might and Magic universe, and the way they evolved the combat system is very nice. Heroes III is still one of my favorites though, and I still play it occasionally.

Heroes 3 was the first one I played. I lived armageddon's blade. I just bought the newest heroes on steam and I love the game play, I find it very reminiscent of heroes 3.
