How do you get access to other worlds besides firehorn?

Someone told me it has something to do with ranks but i was also told ranks are different from classic ranks.

So can someone explain the question in the title?

You walk up to the teleporter in spawn, right click the sign, select where to go and then right click the button to the opposite side of the sign... Profit.

Alpha does not share the rank system of classic.

At this current time it roughly follows this system:

Guest - Guest's can explore every realm and talk to others but they cannot build or destroy.

Firecrotch Builder - New users who have had their application approved are able to build in Firethorn, however they cannot destroy or build in Xankul.

Combo Builder - Veteran members of Classic/Alpha can build anywhere including Xankul.

Wooty - He is god, name your child after him or a tasty chocolate concoction you have created.
