You can have a good life and still suffer from depression. It's not because your life is unhappy (though that can make depression worse), it's because of a chemical imbalances in the brain. It's often genetic.
Science aside, don't despair, my friend. I'm here for you <3 And I'm ridiculously proud of you for having the balls to come out and tell us about this. That being said, when I'm at the state fair, I'll ride the zipper without fear, for you, and at my powwow this weekend I'll drum extra hard for you. But Chiba's right, you have to join us in our full life living.

Wow man. Out of all the people on this site that I would suspect to have any kind of depression, you were last on my list. Hope all is well with you. I wouldn't with depression on my worst enemy...

Beese, you want us to live our lives to the fullest for you, but we can't do that if you're unhappy! Along with everyone else here at T9K, I believe that you can overcome your depression! :)

I agree with GreenEarth. I think you should seek help. I would also ask your Dad what helped him deal with the depression and find out what may of caused his teenage depression so you can figure things out and try to get better. Hope you can start to figure things out soon. :)
