I am wondering why I got promoted so fast after being baned but I am seeing these people who hasn't gotten baned having a hard time with getting a promotion? If anybody knows please tell me.

If you've been unbanned you start again with a clean slate, wether or not you have been banned before or not will not influence promotions up until engineer.
