I would like some feedback. Please.

So I decided to try my hand at making music, and I wasn't even sure it would sound anywhere near something that would pass as music at all.

I sent it to rsmv as it was being developed stage by stage, and he helped me out by suggesting what to add etc.
and now you all get to hear it.

It came out okay in the end and he said to post it and see what you all think of it. Apparently its somewhat decent since after 20 minutes of being put up it had 10 downloads @_o
either that or 10 people don't know what good music is :p

Be nice, rude, helpful, or whatever. I want feedback on this since it was my first ever attempt at making music.
Also any suggestions from people who know what they are doing as to how to further improve it would be great.

The percussion is heavy, melody is soft, it ends abruptly, has almost no dynamics, and is very repetitive. On the other hand, there is a melody to begin with, it is original, changes weight, and is catchy. My opinion: good, but not stellar. :thumbsup:

@Mini
The repetitiveness of it is what I was fearing from the very beginning, before I even sent rsmv the first part of it. I can't think of a way to change that because im not very creative... and dynamics? I am not familiar with what that means, as I have VERY low knowledge of how to use FL10 and this was my very first attempt. Thank you for the feedback.

@Don
Strange that the thread you posted has only 1 tutorial on it and the thread has tutorials in the name, it needs more. Also, the one soundgoodizer tutorial in there might not be very helpful for improving this song, but will be helpful in the future.

@Clayton
I would, but I don't know how, nor the basics of a good drop.

I don't know what genre of music you are trying to create. Is it house? Oh well... You'd probably want to choose one, explore it, then define your own sound that makes it unique from others so you don't fall into the desperate UNCE UNCE UNCE trap.

Or if you don't really care and just want to kill time. I'd give you a pat on the back and pin up your work on the refrigerator and sip on my coffee like a dad.

Yes, What mikey said, you can't just throw some notes in and hope it sounds good. It has to be in key.
