Towny gone, replaced by custom made system supported from launch.team9000.net, based on WorldGuard.
Map divided into building (overworld) and mining (wilderness) - you cant mine anywhere in overworld except your own place (be in Condo or town(s) you are listed in. Placing sand and gravel is prohibited in wilderness for better security, as well as switch permissions in overworld to prevent traping players (?)
Mining world will get regullary wiped and there is constantly night, also creeper explosion damaging world is enable outside spawn. Building anything there is not advised as it can get griefed or stolen from.
Only source of money is voting now. You can vote on two sites for 30$ each (making total 60$ a day).
Condo is free (if you can see one free
), one only per person, chosen from yellow plots on map. Towns are 500 credit per new one. Every town provides autofeed (+food over time) regardless if you are part or not. This is true for spawn in overworld too, but not for wilderness one.Plot cost is based upon distance from spawn plot. From 15 plots to infinity plots cost 150$/each, 5-15 X$/each and 0-5 Y$/each. Only 15+ plots away from spawn can be bought at launch.team9000.net, others are sold by admin only.
You can be enlisted in multiple towns. Plot based permissions for switches and doors, enable mob-spawns and general access (building etc) are in place via launch town owner.
Sign island is gone, but it seems some relicts are still in place - players that had permissions before are able to place lava and water in their plots, but those who never seen sign island cannot. This should be resolved later on. You can place both in wilderness (?).
Chat remains HeroChat - with global and local channels. Money with iConomy, grinders denied by NoFarm, boats break into boats.
Placing vehicles, killing mobs, placing or destroying blocks is denied anywhere, except your town and wilderness out of spawn.
/suicide replaced /killme (any /kill* command that was abused)
Fire is not killing you, lava is. Pumpkin prevent drowning when equiped in head slot - underwater breathing.
Only pvp is allowed in pvp pit in spawn area, anything else is bannable.
There is join-in quiz in boat above spawn. From spawn you can go to overworld (just walk outside), back to ship (portal near pvp pit) or to wilderness by portal in old mine at the bottom of spawn. Shops for not included world materials (anything nether, rare, ...) are being under construction atm.
