Have copy pasta because this is fucking hilarious.

A co-founder for Invisible Children was detained in Pacific Beach on Thursday for being drunk in public and masturbating, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police described Russell as "in his underwear." He allegedly took off his underwear at one point, but it was back on by the time officers arrived, said police.

Several people attempted to calm him down and when officers arrived police said he was cooperative.

"He was no problem for the police department however, during the evaluation we learned that we probably needed to take care of him," said an SDPD spokesperson. "We determined that medical treatment was a better course of action than arrest."

Russell was taken to a medical center after the incident.

AMGZ! He did something wrong, now i won't support him and his foundation anymore, what a group of weirdos!!!

[/sarcasm]

Seriously, why do you even bother? Heck, I bet there are hundreds of people getting arrested for wanking in public or thrashing stuff every day. Not that it's normal, but I personally don't see the point of such attention.

I think it's more about the message he was conveying in his video: that a vile, evil man who does horrible things to other humans needs to be stopped. It would imply that the guy is an upstanding individual with good judgment and morals that wouldn't be caught behaving in such a strange and depraved manner. But, you are right that in the end his personal actions shouldn't tarnish or change the message he made in his video: Kony should probably be caught and stopped.

Whatever.. alot of evidence suggests that Invisible Children and its Kony 2012 project is a complete scam, and merely a propaganda tool so American Imperialists can ravage Africa for its precious, delicious oil and natrual resources.

Alot of the footage used in the film is old, and that the situation in Uganda is more or less "under control".

And spending your hard earned cash on a gig to get wasted and arrested in public should only be limited to Rock Stars; not co-founders of a charity programme.
