So this happened...
Thought one: If at first you don't succeed, try and try again?

Y u no decouple while inside pull of gravity so the debris falls back down? Now you basically have a minefield...

Just to show what I've been up to, the explosion was while trying to launch this to minmus.It was one shipIt imploded and exploded at the same time.
But due to user error, the oh.. 5th stage or so thrusters decided to pass the rest of the craft... to spectacular consequences
After my second attempt made it out and into a stable minmus orbit, I launched this,
My lander cans,
and a small unmanned rover,
After finally getting the rendezvous, and all the docking and launching the rover, here's the current setup
the big ship on the side is meant to return to Kerbin eventually.

A LOT more were destroyed in the crash... I had like 48 in total.

There are several mods for multiplayer, but they're inteded more for long term day to day play (updates depending on your connection can take like 3 minutes or more), as in docking to your friends ship, and not like walking around on the planet together.

all rocky bodies have biomes...! that i do find exciting.

And while I'm at it, here's the station (after the fact) that it was delivering the modules to, as well as a small refueling shuttle.

And that's all I've really done so far on my new game, I don't even have need for a fuel depot at the moment, just had a random urge to build one.
