How do you guys like the 3.10 patch?
1) What do you think about the Master Yi Rework?
2) Do you like the new itemon Summoners Rift, Sprectre's Cowl?
3) How do you think will the elimination of Runic Bulwark and the change of Aegis of the Legion building into Locket of the Iron Solari change the game?
4) Does anybody here play a lot of 3v3 and if so, how do you rate the changes to the items on the Twisted Treeline?

1.) I like how he was nerfed slightly. Helps out a lot when facing him.
2.) Haven't found a use for that item.
3.) I only use the locket on my Graves if I want to trolololol so it really doesn't affect me at all.
4.) I only do 5v5 on Summoner's Rift right now (only a lvl 10) so again, not applicable to me.

However, I did finally find a melee character I can play consistently well. Talon was very much worth saving up 4800 IP to get. Easy, easy top lane kills with him past level 4.

1. Master yi rework completely eliminates AP yi. It makes him stronger, while leaving his W scaling with AP. The passive rework is actually a bit of a nerf, effectively making it take 1 more attack to get the same bonus damage off of his passive, but his new passive is a timed effect, not a permanent one like his old passive. In the end I think he'll be much stronger.
2. Spectral cowl isn't going to be useful. The passive for it is terrible, and the stats are bad. The only real use for it is going to be to escalate Spirit Visage to being a truly useful late game item by making it a higher tiered item.
3. Stupid and pointless change. Bulwark was the only truly core item on most junglers. The removal of bulwark just means that now locket is mandatory on every team. The stats were heavily nerfed for aegis, so it's not going to be as useful, but aura items will always be powerful because it's one item that gives bonuses to the whole team. Locket is going to be very broken now as well, because regardless of the small amount of MR it gives, it also gives a shield to your whole team.
4. Sorry mate, don't play 3v3

Riot also rebuffed the viability of aoe clearing junglers a bit, but made the jungler harder in the process. They finally killed doing double golems before lane, by moving spawn time to 2:05. The timed spawns change won't greatly affect junglers all that much, but will prevent other lanes from clearing them before they go to lane. The mild experience buffs on wolves and double golems should allow for a jungler to get level 4 from a single full clear, rather than having to do Blue -> wolves -> wraiths -> red -> double golems -> wraiths.

Now moving on to the various balance changes. Twisted Fate, Vayne, Ryze, and Elise all got noticable nerfs.

Elise:
The spiderling changes were devastating. HP was nerfed 28% at level 1, up to 53% at level 18, making them far more squishy. While the armor buffs are excellent, taking their physical damage reduction from 23.1% to 47.7% at later levels. The magic resist changes are also nice, taking her from 33.33% reduction throughout the game to 52% damage reduction later. The real problem with her nerfs are the hp nerfs combined with the Multi-target damage reduction nerfs. Late game, they went from having to take 1375 pre-mitigated magic damage to only having to take roughly 720 pre-mitigated magic damage. Physical damage wise, the damage required went from having to take roughly 1193 AOE physical damage to needing 659 damage to kill. Additionally, they now move closer together, making them easier to hit with AOE. Rappel got a major range nerf, as she can no longer drop on to anything that was in the circle w hen it was cast, damaging her ability to chase and engage.

Master Yi:
Already discussed

Ryze:
The range nerfs hurt him, but it standardizes his ranges. Rune prison only got 25 range taken off, and it's the only one you really have to land to start doing damage. The MS buffs are amazing, will make him far better at chasing.

Thresh: Just makes him less threatening at level 1. He also scales a bit less due to souls being nerfed.

Twisted Fate: The passive remake will help Twisted Fate scale better himself, but isn't as good as his old passive. Assuming 4 team members constantly farming, every minion killed per team member granted around 8 gold. Now it grants up to 6 to tf, but it has a fair chance to be far lower than that, and even lower than the 2/person his old passive was. His pick a card nerf was really damages his ability to zone opponents, as now you can only keep them off you for 4 seconds over 8. I haven't tested this, but I'm fairly sure this greatly hurts his ganking ability with Destiny. Destiny has a 1.5 second channel time, meaning you have 2.5 seconds after arrival to hit your opponent. This means that he has to constantly teleport very close to the enemy, increasing odds of escape.

Vayne: These buffs are more of a slap on the wrist than anything else. The condemn nerf hurts her a bit, but the ult cd nerfs just make it so you have to wait a little longer to dominate.

Zac: God damn it...

The nashor changes are terrible. Fighting baron will be much harder, and this greatly reduces the viability of mages.

Turret changes really don't effect anyone not in super high (Challenger-ish) elo, because most teams arent' coordinated enough to push down turrets that fast.

1. Ap Yi is eliminated, thus making him a viable champ AND not an annoying OP champ that you can never stop when he's fed.
2. I did not find any use for that thing....
3. I have NEVER used the locket of the iron solari, so I don't really care. xD
4. I just updated today, and I didn't play 3v3 today either, so I don't really know about the new items on twisted treeline.

Erm, sorry for the double post but...

Lucian is here, and he seems like quite the fun champion.

(remember, he's still in "beta" so his current animations may not be his final ones)

At level 10 it doesn't even matter. Annie's and Anivia's builds are too damn funny.

Not to mention Ashe built 2 boots.

I need to work on engaging. My team had no idea how to engage either so I'd end up having to try and solo 3-4 of them or we'd get stomped. The only real help was veigar with his stun/pen thing. Warwick was going solo all game lol.

YES! The moment of truth has finally come! You are now forced to get over your fear of playing pvp alone, or not play for EIGHT DAYYYSSSS!

MWUAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA *cough* *cough*
I already told you before, it isn't fear of playing alone, its the knowledge that I'm going to get destroyed because I don't know if I'm gonna be stuck on a team of asshats or feeders. And there's no guarantee that the team will communicate well if its a room full of randoms.

Well, then it's fear of assholes.

It's ok if people scream noob, just ignore them and keep playing. xD
