Joining a Town

To join a town, you must gain permission from the town's owner. Only the owner of a town can add you as a member.

Creating Your Own Town
To create your own town, please visit [https://t9k.me/towns https://t9k.me/towns]. After logging in and linking your Minecraft account, you can create and grow your new town. Town creation costs 500 Cr (credits) and does not include your first plot of land. Land plots are available for purchase in 32x32 block "chunks," in exchange for credits you earn from [https://t9k.me/vote voting]. Chunks have different prices in some areas of the world, starting at 250 Cr and increasing to several thousand the closer to "Spawn" that you get.

Premium Plots
To purchase Premium plots within pricelevel2 (just outside Spawn), you must first pay 10,000 Cr as a "buy-in" fee. This does not provide you with any plots, rather it just gives you the right going forward to purchase plots for 1,000 Cr each. Likewise, to purchase Premium plots within pricelevel1 (just outside preicelevel2) you must first pay a 2,000 Cr buy-in fee. Plots in this region are 500 Cr each. Both Premium buy-in prices are in addition to the 500 Cr town creation fee.

Neighbor Buffer Area
Currently there is a buffer implemented where neighboring towns cannot claim plots within 3 plots of your own. If you have a neighboring town that you are friends with and wish to allow the towns to bump up next to each other, you can add them as a neighbor via [https://t9k.me/towns https://t9k.me/towns].

Plot Flags
You can also use the towns page to flag your town with nouse or mobs.
nouse ensures doors and such are not switchable and can't be used by outsiders.
mobs turns on mob spawn so mobs can spawn in your town (light levels permitting).

Making an Outpost

There is currently no way to buy new land for an existing town that isn't connected to the initial town plots. All outposts need to be established as new towns.

An Outpost can be created by making a new Town. It acts as a completely separate town though, so if you change a feature on one town, it won't carry over to the other automatically!
