Discussion
Questions, comments, build planning, rule discussion, technical problems, ban appeals, and all other inquiries or shenanigans can be posted on the [https://www.team9000.net/categories/minecraft-creative-and-survival.50/ Team9000 Creative and Survival Forum]

Rules
Bannable Offenses
 • Hacks (Item Duplication, Fly hacks, Item hacks, memory editors, transparent textures, or any other cheat to give you an unfair advantage over other players)
 • Griefing (Destroying others work or building on it without permission)
 • Macros (Bots, autoclickers)
 • Stealing items from other players
 • Asking other players about their age or location
 • Inappropriate skins (including nude and distasteful skins)
 • Causing unhappiness is a bannable offense. Any event that causes another user to become angry or unhappy (in a non-competitive sense) is not allowed. You may consider this to be a very broad rule, but it helps us to cover any ban cases not specifically listed. Team9000 is not a place for trolls, griefers, or people of an annoying nature, and we will remove any person causing unhappiness -- even if they do not explicitly disobey the above rules.

Buildings Subject to Removal
 • Pixel Art
 • Single column towers
 • Unrealistic buildings (no supports, floating, etc)

Be Polite!
 • No trolling unless it is completely good-natured and not offending anyone.
 • Don't spam random blocks everywhere.
 • Just be nice!

Mods
Aside from regular Minecraft gameplay, the Team9000 Survival server also includes the following functionality:

Navigation
 • A full world map is available at [http://map.team9000.net map.team9000.net].
 • There is a pop-out section on the right portion of the map to switch between available worlds.
 • There are no teleports on this server. The only thing close is the /suicide command which will take you back to Spawn without any gear or experience you had.

World / Grief Protection
 • TNT is placeable and explodes but does not inflict damage
 • Lava will not catch blocks on fire
 • Fire will not spread, and will not destroy blocks
 • Fire will not hurt any player, but lava will
 • Creeper explosions and Endermen will not destroy blocks. All bets are off in the Wilderness, aka Mining World, as Creepers do explode and they will take you and the surrounding area with them.

Fun
 • You can scuba underwater for unlimited time by wearing a pumpkin head
 • Wolves will not take damage from the environment
 • Water will not flow over blocks of Lapis Lazuli

Worlds
Team9000 offers three different worlds to play on

Creative
 • The Creative world is an anything goes sandbox style world. Once the player claims, purchases, or joins a plot, the sky is the limit. Noclip can be used by rapidly pressing the jump key twice.
 • Plots can be purchased or managed on the Team9000 Minecraft Portal at https://mc.team9000.net/

Short Term Survival
 • The Short Term Survival world is a fun take on Minecraft gameplay. The trees are now diamonds! Cake is in the place of grass! But, to gather wood in Short Term Survival you are going to have to dig. You are given a set of wooden tools to begin your digging adventures. The gamemode is set to hard.**NOTE** This world WILL be reset on a fairly consistent basis and it offers NO grief protection, so only build or leave behind what you can afford to do without.

Long Term Survival
 • Long Term Survival is a whitelisted world, much closer to vanilla game play. Once a player is added to the whitelist, they are free to roam the world to live and build as they please. Town zones can be secured in Long Term Survival by contacting [https://www.team9000.net/members/kagato.2946/ Kagato75] either in game or via a Private Message on the forum. Apply for the LTS whitelist [https://www.team9000.net/forums/long-term-survival-whitelist-applications.60/ here].

 • Portals to and from the Nether can be created. Logic code has been written to ensure safe travel between worlds and you will be warned if the destination point on the other end is obstructed. You can find all the math behind lining up the portals over [https://www.team9000.net/threads/the-math-of-t9k-nether-portals.25785/ in this thread].

 • The Nether is a dangerous place in general, and seems to often undergo large, sudden transformations. Builds, materials, etc. are all subject to possible purging, and you would be well advised to not store or build anything there that you would rather not do without.

The End
 • Currently not active. There are plans to build an arena world where one can spawn Ender Dragons and Withers. More information on that as it develops.

Plots
 • To build in the worlds (i.e. "Creative" on the [http://map.team9000.net map]), you must own, or be a member of someone else's Project. For full details regarding creating, joining, and maintaining projects, check out [[/Towns|Plots (RENAME THIS PAGE)]].

 • To help provide some protection of one's resources while trying to either join an existing project or saving up to start your own, you can claim a Condo plot, found in the far East of the Overworld map. Every player is capable of owning one Condo plot, free of charge, as they are made available. For more information or to claim your Condo, visit [https://mc.team9000.net https://mc.team9000.net]

 • To see who owns a project or is whitelisted in a plot, use the command /lookup (ie. for the plot you're standing in, /lookup; for a project, /lookup <project number>)
