What's this? A new development on pie island?

It appears to be an entrance to some kind of underground area.. Let's explore.

In other news, I will be MIA for the next two weeks-ish. I'm going away for holidays, and will likely not have access to a computer for minecraft. =[

I'll see you guys when I get back though!

/info - 47k placed, 35k removed, 17.3 hours of play. =D

Nuclear Launch Detected in Cool 11!

I'm trying to get better at 3D objects. This was a quick build before work last night, hopefully if I decide to build this again I'll be able to round it out a bit more.

Here is my fairly accurate copy of black mesa from Half life 1 (specifically the first level). Ran into a few interesting problems where the first lift shaft wasn't physically possible. Took roughly a week and over 9000 alt-tabs to build. Spoilered due to large collection
The tram:

Elevated walkway:

Computer area:

Locker room (HEV suit area pictured on the far left)

The aforementioned troublesome lift

A corridor:

No idea wtf this is, but it's in the game so...

Again, no idea wtf it's purpose is:

Another lift shaft:

Bottom half of the anti-mass spectrometer

Main part of AMS:

The full room:

No cuboid used.

Oh and incase anyone wonders where the water comes from, 1st and most obvious would be rain. Second would be dew. *As inspired from the book <Stormrage> in the World of Warcraft pocket book series.*
And under development is an underground water source where the roots reach into and whereby there is an underground civilation living around this underground subterranean cave.
