Alright so my character has a Luigi skin and I enjoy making sprites and whatnot, but I decided that sprites aren't really anything special. So I decided to change it up a bit.

This looks like a simple old Luigi sprite from outside, right? Well, I doubled the size of it among other things. Take a closer look...

It's actually a building with 5 floors, an underwater basement, and a loft :p Here's the entrance.

Part of the lobby...

And the other part of the lobby is the bathroom, complete with a sink, toilet, and bath tub/hot tub.

Here is the underwater basement. I haven't done much to it yet so it really isn't anything special right now.

Now I love classic games. And I've been a Mario fan since I was little. Luigi has been my favorite Mario relative because green is my favorite color (yes, I also like Yoshi), but Mario is a close second. So I decided to give each floor it's own theme...

Here is the Mario room. You can see the red and blue patterned floor. Fittingly, I gave it it's own red mushroom patch (I swear they aren't shrooms ;) ) on one side.

On the other half, I added a large screen TV with a video game console and a couch built for 3. I figured since Mario is the main character for the video games, his room should get the TV and game system ^_^

Next comes the room for one of Mario's most famous enemies who eventually went on to have his own rather successful game series - the Wario room. It also has a color-coordinated patterned floor. Because he is the largest of the Mario family, I decided to dedicate this room as the kitchen/dining area. Here you can see the table...

And the kitchen itself, complete with a large fridge, pantry, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee pot (as best as I could build them, lol).

This is the room dedicated to one of the relatively newer Mario crew members - Waluigi. With a purple and blue floor to match, it has two spiral staircases. One (the green one in the back) leads up to the last (and best :p) room and the other (the purple one close to the camera) leads to the loft...

eg3244.png

The loft was made the library with a great view overlooking part of the map, plenty of books, and a large chair to read in. The edge of the loft (I stood on it to get a view of the rest of the loft) overlooks the Waluigi room.

The last room is my favorite because it is designed for my favorite character, Luigi. With a green and white checkered floor, this half has another great view looking over the map on the other side of the building...

And the opposite side of the floor has a king-sized bed.

Finally, you may have noticed some half-bricks in the middle of each floor. These are openings in the floor that allow for a quick exit to each floor below the one you are on. If you fall all the way through, you'll find yourself in the basement.

I would like to get promoted because then I would get the chance to make more in-depth pixel art (in particular multi-layering pixel art), and more room to build freely. Anyways here are the pictures of the creations that I have built on the server:

And heres a little sign that says Team9000 that I made when I was bored ;p

Also, please check out my photobucket that has pictures from another server where i built on a pixel art wall and on another world with more room, so I could do better and more in-depth pixel art. Anyways, heres the link:Pictures by TmanDude - Photobucket

Please consider me for a higher promotion so I can build bigger and better things, thanks,
TmanDude.

I've never made anything artistic in Minecraft until this, however I saw a video on youtube showcasing your museum and knew I had to get involved. I am Computer Animation Fine Arts student in college, and love it when games like this deliver new venues for people to release their creativity. I simply recreated Komachi's sprite from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, a fighting game based off of the Touhou Project. However, not knowing much about multiplayer minecraft and fearing griefers, I decided to build underground, in a very large hollowed out area. The only downside to this, making it harder to screen-shot the entire sprite, as it is more than a football field long. I can assure you that regardless of lack of color choice, that each pixel is placed accordingly. I plan to do more artwork like this, although perhaps in larger more open areas, and I would love to contribute to the museum myself one day.

This is the team9000 public library I built, there is a cafe with tables and chairs, an outdoor pavillion, and two secret bookcase entrances to different places, one is a set of rooms for librarians or something, and the other is my huge personal stash of books, and an upper room with my bed, a 50inch hdtv with a couch, and a nightstand, I hope I get promoted!
