Mineview is a new website that i have recently created and is looking for some feedback on.
- First intially a idea between me and my friend at school and has been a secret project.
- URL is - mod snip -
-The website is for the use of Minecraft videos (sorta like break and youtube)
- The website is also used for the new generation of minecraft players who dont know much about minecraft sorta like a help center.
-The Website is still in its development stages and will have some flaus to be fixed.
- I really want this website to go mainstream like minecraft forums.
- For server owners (woot) you can have me make you a page for it and i can let you add your own detail to it.
- This website has a Best classic and survival server section on it that will be closey monitered for any changes.
- I would really like feedback on the site.
- and i do honestly feel this can help us here. please dont ask why cause im not to sure how. thats just my thought.
- This THREAD IS NOT INTENDED TO ADVERTISE ANYTHING.

the top servers are made by total players online atm using minecraft.net if any changes are made ill change it immediatly or eventually bc im not on all the time

Simply heartbeating a fake client total does not mean that you actually have more players online. At this moment, Team9000 Classic has 179 players online, and minecraft.net reflects that.

The other server you have mentioned shows 350 players on minecraft.net, but actually only has 20.

I know your tricks. Please, do not pretend that we are stupid.

Uh, just saying, twk is one of the owners of -mod snip-. So I am not pointing fingers or anything but there is a huge amount of bias to be seen if the maker of the top 10 list has his own server as #1...

And too bad that the minecraft.net classic list no longer goes by server heartbeat/number of players on a server. It goes by the hours that the server has been running. And the list is reset like once every 2 weeks or something.

So there is no longer any advantage to faking your server info. It gets you no where and makes you look bad.

I'm quite happy with the current layout. It's very easy to "fake" the number of players on your server when it reports to minecraft.net (*cough twkiller96*), but uptime cannot be faked. If you are good at what you do, and provide a reliable service, you will be at the top.

huh? i do know what im doing and have been doing it for quiet some time and have no problem with expressing that. i am not trying to have competition with you. this website was not made for that and will never be focused on that. please forgive me for my mistakes but im sure you have tryed something relativaly simular to this.
