One app which I find quite useful is Pulse newsreader. Great interface and lots of well known sources for all sorts of news!

i read that a couple of days ago. It's the sign of a growing platform but I still fear that the fragmentation problem is going to hurt app development. The recent move by Google to make the default theme available on all phones regardless of the manufacturer skin is a positive one but still doesn't go far enough in my opinion.

Perhaps. I like how you don't need to get it reviewed...
But I think they should do random reviewing of ALL apps. And review all apps that are under 3 stars
