Multi-Tasking in Youth is Bad, Study Finds

A recent study was published where a survey found that tween girls are more likely to develop social issues if they spend a majority of their time swtiching between different websites/apps online. The study can also be linked to boys, but there hasn't been a study specifically geared towards them. The study finds young girls who spend most of their time on their digital devices are least likely to develop normal social tendencies. Likewise, multi-tasking leads to other cognitive issues, such as difficulty remembering things and difficulty focusing on one subject.

Well, the internet makes everypony more socially awkward.

However, we shouldn't shun technology because it makes everybrony unable to look face-to-face and engage in proper conversation.
We should just unanimously agree that everyone we meet in real life, is either fugly, boring or a dick, and that "I rather read rage comics than talk to you."

There's a few reasons the internet exists, one of such reasons is to escape one's own reality, if this makes you socially awkward, so be it. There's a reason your on this forum right now isn't there?

Also this study is flawed, due to the fact that they say "multi-tasking" leads to other cognitive issues, such as difficulty remembering things and difficulty focusing on one subject" is required in school, which the majority of teenagers attend.
