One song I don't understand why people like so much is "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO. Both the name of the song and the name of the band are unoriginal. It's a little catchy, but only cause it's pop. The lyrics are so repetitive! O_O

As far as music genres go, I currently do not like country, except for a few songs. Why?

Because the singers look like gangster cowboys trapped in a time warp:

Rap music. I hate it, don't understand it nowadays. It was good back in the day, when it wasn't considered rap. Nowadays, all you here is "asdhnfasvbfkhfnv And I slapped shawty's as* so hard and her t*ts were huge and now I'm gonna stab my wife. I love doin drugs it makes me feel good! Yah! Word! F*ck you! N**ger N*gger N**ger N*ger *** ******* *** woo! ldrknh" ... It makes me sick.

that's why i listen to "grandmaster flash", "KRS One", "Promoe" etc
but i must say good hip hop still lives, you can actually find artists that know the meaning of "Flow" "Rythm" "Good lyrics/Content"
for example "Wax" i love his pieces, since they are pretty much my life with a bit different scenario

as for what i i don't understand is the growing pop/rnb/electronic culture and that wannabe gangsta stuff
why do people think that all this shit is good, its horrible it lacks any kind of Content but people singing about how much money they have, about parties or about their Love that they just lost (which probably never even happened) which also reminds me of this song :D

Sorry for my HIP HOP Ranting but i know that there are many here who hate it without understanding the true meaning and culture behind it
