Noob's tutorial for audiomod and modmanager

Hi. I am new to modding minecraft. Can someone give me a detailed instruction, video, or to-do that would teach me all about it?

Modding minecraft is pretty ez. Usually, mods only involve u opening the minecraft.jar file, deleting META-INF folder, then placing all the class files inside it. Exceptions to this are mods such as the Aether mod, as it is a pretty in-depth mod. However, modding it this way causes problems for me since u cannot use HD texture packs this way (at least, not that ik of) since the HD patcher does not allow u to patch ur modded minecraft.jar. Therefore, I use MyCraft which allows u to let the minecraft.jar file be untouched, automatically updates all the mods for u (not sure how this works) but that is a huge plus, and allows u to disable individual mods. It comes with a different launcher "mycraft.jar" and also comes with an included flymod. To use it, all u have to do is place all the class files u would usually place in minecraft.jar into a folder named "mods" that comes with downloading MyCraft. Then u make a folder and place those files into it and ur done. Long reply but hope this helps. Oh and the link for it is: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/141764-v173-mycraft-all-your-mods-in-one-place-232/

Actually, patch minecraft, then mod. It works fine. Just sometimes patching reverts to old jar files somehow and you have to go through a big mess.
