Perhaps block history in beta?

I know it would be useless for the 1.9 pre-5 server, but maybe when the full game is released we could have a block history for the beta survival server? Yesterday I finally made my way to Mooville, only for it to be griefed to hell. There were swasticas all over, any build made out of wood gone, and there was many valuable items missing from my chest. I was just wondering if there could be any way to put block history in beta? And if not, I understand. Thanks.

I would like there to be a block history too, I remember the creative server getting griefed SOOO bad. I think there should be a way to revert what they did too. If it's possible.
Also, don't build close to spawn and don't tell anyone you don't trust where you are.

I have a couple more things to do, then I'll post my idea for a kind of player moderation that wouldn't give us too much power, but would reduce trolling and grief.

we did have block history, but this is a beta build with no official bukkit release, be patient.

What do you mean by "player moderation"?
Do you mean a system where we have a some moderators(that actually do something)?

Yes, using trustworthy and very active players (me, DutchCheese, etc), who would have a bit of power, a moderator who can do more than just say "Please stop, guys." A system possibly similar to classic, but doesn't need the entire system.

You see, that's the issue. I have a bit of time before I could make the full idea complete, so what do you guys think? We can't have it rely just on being here a long time, *cough* JerseyFoo *cough*, so need to have a proper system.

I would REALLY like to be an admin, I have two builder ranked accounts on classic, But I have never been an admin. I would REALLY love to be one.

I think there are SEVERAL active members that have been around for a relatively long while that have caused no problems that are trustworthy enough to give kick privileges (at least)... This has always been an issue with the survival server.

I think that time being here should be a small factor in choosing. Things like if they are trusted by others. I also think that classic rank shouldn't have any effect on being a moderator here.

Especially with the upcoming server lists, and the full release of Minecraft... we're in for a storm, and just the admins cannot deal with that, we are all just humans.

Also, just wondering, who were you having in mind?

FIrst of all, this is never going to happen. So I don't know why you guys are planning it all out. Woot has already said that there will be no ranks in beta.
