I've figured out the best way to farm pumpkins at least... still working on melons (although I think it's the same)... will post pics. It's really fast once you get the vine fully grown!

I will, perfecting design... there may be another way to do it that I've found, but quite complicated. The easy way is seed intensive, but farms melons and pumpkins very fast.

now now now i have run into 3 bugs the dublication bug the fickering items bug and the enderman attacking up close witch might not even be a bug

Many of the worst bugs are performance ones, but look at Bugs and tell me there aren't a ton.
