My major is called
Biology Option 2: Genome
or just Genome Biology, and hopefully undergraduate research in a lab dealing with genetics
there is a 1.5 million dollar sequencing machine I wanna play with / break.

current classes are called

General College Chemistry 2 with lab ( cannot masturbate to this )
Biology: Evolution and Ecology ( omg listen to an hour and half of monotone lecture about phylogentic trees )
General College Physics 2 (Electricity and Magnetism) with lab ( I can masturbate to this )
History of AMURRRIKKUUHHH ( till 1865 ) ( required class, fucking fail )

I'm also taking a comprehensive class called
"How to waste time on the internet and not read the material that will be covered in midterms"

You are honorable and are now a role model for me.

:D maybe if I get a paper (undergrad research) published (will probably not be main author, but play a role) I'll get role model status.
What level of school are you in?

So, you're going to be a geneticist? Sounds great. :3

That's the idea, seems like the field has oppurtunity ( we haz genome mapped, but can't use it yet ), so funding will be more available than like a less "sexy" science, like "omg all the frogs are dying because of a fungus" ( ecology ) ( serious problem btw, many species extinct )

I am only in high school, but I have doubled-stacked science classes, I take both biology and chemistry. I'm in the International Baccalaureate program, a worldwide honors program that allows anyone in any country who is smart enough to have exactly the same education as the brightest students of places like Sweden. I've always been very interested in education, sciences in particular, probably since my father has a Master's degree and my mother has a PhD is ethnomusicology, the study of music in world cultures.
And you can be a role model already, I like mine to have moving targets.

I'm interested, what college do you attend?

Hmm...Move on to World War II If you're interested in that kinda thing.
Or just play every single WWII game that ever existed.
