Taken from personal experience over the past night.

DO NOT
  • Try to use a laptop to play games which have come out in the past 5 years
  • Use a styrofoam plate as a pizza cutter
  • Try to play multiplayer games when everyone has a different patch version
  • Spend two hours trying to figure out why said games are not working
  • Using a 20$ router to handle the traffic for 30 computers
  • Forget to tell building maintenance to turn on the A/C before they leave for the day
  • Explode
DO
  • Dress up like Indiana Jones
  • Carry your 24" monitor in an elaborate homemade duct tape backpack harness
  • Consume tons of junk food and sugary drinks
  • Play Borderlands for six straight hours
  • Run wires all over the floor like you are a mad scientist
  • Pwn Noobs
