It doesn't, my comment was based on the topic. What Sony is rumored to do will piss off a lot of people, but it also may be great for their business in the long run, as long as they don't lose their fans.

I always have faith in the PS3 and its predecessors. No doubt their console is superior than the Xbo60, which lasts as long as an iPod when it first came out (2 years) until it meets the ring of death.

But then again, I might not even need a PS4 after all, since I'll probably be getting a PC instead.

I had an original 360 and it lasted until last August. I got the 360 Slim now, and PS3 is not far superior to them.
As for going off console, I may do the same.

The main thing that annoys me is console-exclusive games. I can't play Halo.

If I had the dosh, I wouldn't be console gaming at all. But alas.
