Hi all! Among all of our plans for more online community shenanigans I realized something... Are people talking about T9K in real-life venues, work, school, etc? What sparks this is just how are people find out about T9K if we keep it to only being advertised by minecraft review sites that have visited us or some youtube videos that members have made (some great vids btw :).)

Basically this is about the offline presence that we have and just wondering if people do talk about T9K with friends and/or associates for them to gain interest into checking us out. Sorta similar to how Ozy & Woot talked to a kid about T9K during our zip-lining tour. I talked to a guy a few months back at gamestop about some of the new games launching and casually suggested T9K as a pretty cool place to check-out.

Just looking for ways for other members to personalize their gaming experience and have friends from school/whatever to hang-out with the community, who knows maybe they'll find friends within the community :D.

I mention on occasion that I frequent gaming servers, and sometimes will drop the name of this place...

"offline presence" I guess you could make a name tag for your shirt with [T9K] on it but I'm talking about in casual convo with friends, like maybe in a video game club at school (we had one back in my day :)) or in the coffee lounge at work :D.

I'm always surfing the site in class and people sitting next to me sometimes laugh at posts etc. So maybe they come and check it out later I dunno.

I've mentioned T9K to a few of my friends, but of course; it's up to them if they want to check it out or not.

I've dropped the T9K-bomb a few times before in casual conversation. I know I've got one friend whose at least liked us on Facebook, but I have no idea if he's actually joined the gang yet.
I try to scope out possible recruits if I know others that are into gaming, but it usually seems to be not that effective.

I ask people everywhere I go about Team9000, and have invited my friends. Unfortunately, not a single one has joined yet. Some people I asked believed that you had to be chosen by Team9000 to join no joke!

@Bored: Ops read the blog wrong.
Either way, I have asked my friends to join T9K, but they're all already either unaligned Xbow-only CoD players or a member of some other site.
