How to Play

# First, download Quake 3 Arena from a legitimate source. You can even purchase it [http://store.steampowered.com/app/2200/ from steam]
# Download and install the [http://ioquake3.org/get-it/ IOQuake3 Client] (both the Engine Download and the Data Installer Download)
# To install Quake 3 maps
#* Copy the pak0.pk3 file from your Steam/steamapps/common/Quake 3 Arena/baseq3 folder to your ioquake3/baseq3 folder
# To install Quake 3 Team Arena maps
#* Copy the pak0.pk3 file from your Steam/steamapps/common/Quake 3 Arena/missionpack folder to your ioquake3/missionpack folder
# Run IOQuake3
# Simply press "OK" when prompted for a CD-KEY
# Setup your video options as needed.
# Be sure to set "Automatic Downloading: On" in the Game Options
# For high def widescreen video:
#* Push ~ to open console, and enter the following commands:
#* r_mode -1
#* r_customwidth 1920
#* r_customheight 1080
#* vid_restart
# Connect to the server via console
